We also clean and shape felt hats in store, usually while you wait — shaping is included when you buy your hat; cleaning, reshaping on a later visit or a felt bought elsewhere have a fee. If we can't get to it right away, you're welcome to leave it with us.

How much do cowboy hats cost at Teres?
Straw hats run from $35.99 (Bullhide 20X) to $260 (Stetson Griffin 100X). Felt hats start at $109.99 (RDR and Bullhide 4X), most Stetson and Resistol 6X are $380–$400, and the top of the rack is the Stetson El Presidente 100X at $1,400 and the Larry Mahan Superior 500X at $1,499.
Felt or straw?
Felt (the classic texana) is for fall, winter and dressing up; straw is for summer heat and work. The X on the label tells you the quality of the material, not the shape. Read felt vs. straw and X-ratings before you decide.
Do you shape hats? Is it free?
Felt hats, yes — Sinaloa, Marlboro, Open Crown or the shape you want, and it's included the day you buy your hat here. Cleaning, reshaping on a later visit, or a felt bought elsewhere have a fee: ask at the counter. As a rule we don't reshape straw hats.
What hat sizes do you carry?
Most styles come in 6 3/4 to 7 1/2; RDR, Bullhide and Tombstone go to 7 5/8, and the Tombstone Chaparral 1000X to 7 3/4. If a hat is slightly big we fit it with foam sizing tape. Not sure of your size? Read how to measure your cowboy hat size.
