How to Find Us
We are on Lake June Road in southeast Dallas, directly across from the CVS Pharmacy. If you can see the CVS, you are looking at us — we are on the opposite side of the street. Look for the red and black sign and the number 8033 above the door.
Parking is available on the side of the building, right next to the store. Street parking is also available along Lake June Road.
We serve customers from across Dallas County, including Balch Springs, Mesquite, Seagoville and Garland.

We are in the heart of Pleasant Grove, on Lake June Rd just west of Buckner Blvd, zip code 75217. If you are coming down Buckner, turn onto Lake June and look for the red and black sign across from the CVS. Families from Pleasant Grove, Balch Springs, Mesquite and Seagoville have been buying their boots and hats here since 1986.
How Buying Works Here
You can browse our boots, hats, belts and apparel online to see what we carry, check brands and get an idea of sizes before you come in. But the purchase itself happens at the store, face to face.
We do not ship. We do not deliver.There is no online payment and no shopping cart on this site.
We work this way on purpose. Boots need to be tried on — the same size fits differently between a Cuadra and an Ariat, and a hat has to be shaped to your head to sit right. Forty years behind the counter have taught us that a boot bought without being worn first usually comes back.

Four Decades on the Same Corner
Teres Western Wear opened in 1986, and we have been at 8033 Lake June Road ever since — same address, same family, same counter. In forty years we have never moved.
People come back because their father brought them here as kids. They remember the store, they remember the boots, and now they walk in on their own. That does not happen to a business that changes hands or chases the next location.
We are not a chain and we do not answer to a corporate buyer. What comes into the store is what we decided was worth carrying — and when you walk in, you are dealing with the people who made that decision.
Hat Cleaning and Shaping in Dallas
A cowboy hat is not finished until it fits you. At the counter we clean your felt hat and shape the crown and brim to your head, so the hat you walk out with is yours and nobody else's. Hat bands and feathers are also available for purchase if you want to customize it.
Shaping is included when you buy the hat here. Bring in a hat you already own and we can clean and reshape it for a service charge.

Do you ship or deliver?
No. We are a physical store only. Everything is bought in person at 8033 Lake June Road. Our website is a catalog so you can see what we carry before you come in.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, credit and debit cards.
Do you offer layaway?
Yes. Ask at the counter and we will set it up. Please note that layaway purchases are final — no refunds or exchanges.
Can I return or exchange something?
We do not give refunds. We do accept exchanges within 30 days with the original receipt, as long as the merchandise is unused, in original condition and with the tags still attached. Boots may be exchanged only if the soles are unscratched.
Do you shape hats?
Yes. Shaping is included when you buy the hat with us. If you bring a hat in for cleaning and shaping as a service, there is a charge — this applies whether or not the hat came from our store. Once a hat has been shaped or cut, it is a final sale.

Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Our whole team is bilingual. You can shop, ask about sizes and get fitted in Spanish or English, whichever you prefer. This website is also available in Spanish.
What should I bring to try on boots?
The socks you will actually wear with them — dress socks for a dress boot, your work socks for a work boot; a thick sock can move you half a size. If you own a pair that fits you well, bring it or note the brand and size, because a Cuadra, an Ariat and a Durango do not measure the same. Late afternoon is the best time to try on boots: feet are a little bigger after a day on them. Our boot sizing guide and fit guide explain what a good fit feels like before you come in.
Do you carry wide boots and large hat sizes?
Yes. Many of our boot styles come in wide (EE) as well as medium (D), especially work boots, and we stock hats up to 7 5/8 in several brands. If you need a specific width or size, call ahead and we will confirm it is on the shelf. Our hat guide has the full size chart in inches, centimeters and US sizes.
My job requires safety-toe boots. Can you help me pick the right ones?
Yes. Bring the exact requirement from your employer — steel toe, composite, ASTM rated, EH — and we will show you what qualifies.
