Monster fish print in orix over a brown fango shaft — the light, sandy vamp against the darker top is what makes this one stand out on a rack of solid-color boots. Orix reads warm and tan rather than yellow, and it works with both dark denim and lighter washes.

The vamp is finished in monster fish print: a large-scale pattern embossed into cowhide leather. It is a print, not exotic skin, and it holds its definition instead of wearing off the way a surface print would.

Inside, a leather lining and cushion comfort insole make the boot wearable for a full day. Pull tabs let you get the boot on without a struggle. The leather outsole gives the traditional Western feel and can be resoled by any bootmaker.

Wide square toe on the 302 last gives generous room across the toes. The Stockman heel is low enough for comfortable walking and shaped to sit securely in a stirrup.
