The Pageant is Resistol's 4X wool felt western hat in white, made in Garland, Texas.
What 4X means. On a felt hat the X rating describes the quality of the blend. The Pageant is a 4X premium wool felt — not fur felt — which keeps the price accessible while still holding a clean, crisp shape. Straw hats use the X letter for something different, where it measures how fine and tight the weave is, so the numbers don't compare across materials.
Profile 75: a 4 5/8" cattleman crown with a 4" brim, a matching white self-felt hat band with a traditional three-piece silver buckle set, and a leather sweatband. Solid white reads sharp for pageants, rodeo queen work, quinceañeras and formal wear.
