What 3X means. On a felt hat the X rating describes the quality of the blend. The 9th Round is a 3X wool felt — not fur felt — which keeps it accessible while still holding a clean shape. Straw hats use the X letter for something different, where it measures how fine and tight the weave is, so the numbers don't compare across materials.
Profile CJ42: a 4 5/8" brick crown with a 4 1/4" brim, a monochromatic black ribbon hatband that runs all the way around, and a leather sweatband. The band carries the Cojo pendant with the logo in electric blue.
