Model A150 in natural straw — a woven summer hat, built for the months when a felt is simply too much hat. Weaving leaves the crown open to the air instead of sealing it in, and in Dallas that is the whole point.

On straw, the X number describes the weave rather than the fiber: the tighter and finer the weave, the better the hat holds its shape over a season. At 30X the body is firm enough to keep a clean crown and a straight brim edge instead of softening after a few weeks. The brim measures between 4 1/8" and 4 1/4" depending on the piece, and the hatband varies by lot — some come with conchos and some with a plain band. Stop in and choose the one you like.
