The Rebel Pro is the most engineered boot in the Durango line, and this one comes in Aztec Brown with an Olive shaft — a 12-inch square toe in full-grain leather with soft mesh lining and the X-Pand System hidden gore panel, so it pulls on and off without a fight.
What sets it apart is the platform under your foot. The removable ACS Footbed with InsulKul cushions and regulates temperature — warmer when it's cold out, cooler when it isn't — over a cushion flex insole with a rigid rear foot stabilizer that keeps the heel seated.
Underneath that sits the fiberglass Dually Shank: two shanks instead of one, for medial and lateral torsion stability and roughly double the midfoot support of a standard western boot. The ¾ genuine Goodyear welt construction with a genuine leather welt and double row cotton stitch means this boot can be resoled rather than thrown away, and the littleway shank stitch binds outsole, heel tuck and upper together.
The 1½-inch rocker heel over a nailed ABS heel base promotes a more natural heel strike across a long day, the rolled shank area sits cleanly in a stirrup, and the slip, oil and abrasion resisting rubber outsole holds on whatever you're standing on.
