No. 1 is the original in the Leather Vintage Label series and the most literal one — this is a leather scent that actually smells like leather, not like a leather-adjacent idea.
What it captures specifically is sun-aged leather: the warm, slightly dusty smell of a saddle or a belt that has been out in the weather, rather than the sharp chemical bite of a new hide. Virginian cedarwood runs underneath and gives it structure, dry and clean where the leather is warm. Clementine and violet sit low in the blend and do the quiet work — the citrus keeps the opening from being heavy, and the violet adds a powdery softness that rounds the edges. It projects well and lasts through a full day. Of the four in the series this is the one to start with if you want to know what the line is about.
