Cowboy Gunslinger is the darker one in the Cowboy line — earthy, leathery and a little smoky, without being heavy-handed about it.
It opens raw with bergamot, huckleberry and sage, which is the bright part and the reason it does not read like a straight leather cologne. As it settles, sun-tanned leather and wild tobacco take over and stay close to the skin, which is why it holds well into the night rather than fading by lunch. Wears best in cooler weather and in the evening, though it works year-round.
