Tru Fragrance Men's Añejo Cologne

Añejo is named for aged tequila and built like it — the darkest and most complex scent in the PBR line, and the one that rewards a cool evening.

It opens deceptively bright, with spiked citrus over black pepper, but crushed cacao sits right underneath from the first minute and signals where this is going. The middle turns green and resinous — wild lavender, elemi resin, and river moss give it a damp, earthy turn that keeps the sweetness in check. Then it lands: smoked amber, Atlas cedar, and barrel-aged oak, the part that actually smells like a spirit aged in wood. This is a strong fragrance with real projection, so one or two sprays is the right amount. Best in fall and winter, and better at night than at noon.
