The light coco belly — a pale sand-grey print foot against a navy blue shaft with elaborate stitching. This is the version where the scale structure shows at full contrast: pale finishes let every squared scale read individually, where dark tones blur them into texture.

Coco belly is the section of a caiman hide with the largest, most orderly scales, squared and running in even rows. It's the cut that commands the most in genuine exotic, and the one that photographs best on a boot.

What "print" means here: the pattern is pressed into real leather rather than taken from a caiman. It costs a fraction of genuine exotic, and it wears more evenly — there are no natural scale edges to lift or crack over the years. One honest note on the pale finish: light leather shows scuffs and dirt more readily than dark. Worth a protective treatment before the first wear.
