The Fronterizo M116 in sand buck — the lightest boot in the El Canelo line and the one that reads most casual. Sand is a pale warm tone that pairs naturally with light denim, cream, and khaki, and the napped buck surface gives it texture that a smooth leather in the same color would lose.

Handmade in Mexico by El Canelo. Ankle height for everyday wear rather than ranch work.

One honest note on the color: pale napped leather shows water spotting and dirt more than dark or smooth finishes. A protective spray before first wear makes a real difference, and a suede brush lifts the nap back when it flattens.
