The El Paso in Caisson leather, black. Where the buck versions are matte and napped, Caisson is the smooth finish — it takes a polish, holds a shine, and cleans with a cloth instead of a brush. In black that makes it the dressiest of the El Canelo ankle boots.

Handmade in Mexico with a durable sole built for daily wear. The ankle height is the reason this style works where a full western boot doesn't: it sits under a pant leg cleanly, so it moves between a workday and an evening without looking out of place either time.

Black smooth leather is also the most forgiving to maintain — no special brushes, no worry about water spotting the nap.
