The CC221-L is crafted from genuine stingray leather, a material historically used for samurai sword grips precisely because of its extraordinary durability — the calcified dermal denticles that give stingray its distinctive pebbled surface make it exceptionally resistant to scuffing, tearing, and wear. Most stingray hides feature a natural pale marking near the center known as the "pearl" or "eye," a hallmark of authenticity. The black finish creates striking contrast against the raised texture, producing a subtle shimmer under direct light. Traditional Western construction joins the exotic vamp to the leather shaft with precise stitching throughout. The leather sole is reinforced for durability and stable footing.
