The steel toe version of the Activator VentTEK. Same full-grain leather upper with mesh panels worked into the shaft, but with a protective cap up front for jobs that require one.

The VentTEK panels move air through the leg of the boot, which matters through a Dallas summer. The steel toe is ASTM F2413 I/C rated, and the boot also carries the electrical hazard and slip resistance ratings under the same standard. ATS technology gives lightweight support that lets the foot adapt to uneven ground. The FLX Foam midsole is light and springy underfoot, and the All Day Cushioning insole pulls out for cleaning or replacement. The oil- and slip-resisting Duratread sole passes hot contact testing at 300°C, and the 90-degree heel catches ladder rungs securely.

Eleven-inch shaft, 1.25-inch heel, wide square toe. Lining is 50% recycled polyester. Ariat sources this leather through Leather Working Group-certified tanneries.
