All black, top to bottom — black Damiana leather on the foot with a matching black shaft. It's the most versatile boot Rancho Semental makes, because black goes everywhere: a funeral, a wedding, the office, or a Saturday night.

The construction is what you're paying for. A double welt joins the upper to the sole — two rows of stitching instead of one, which is stronger and lets the boot be resoled rather than replaced when the bottom wears through. Leather lining, leather outsole, and a 1.5-inch walking heel that keeps your stride natural through a long day rather than pitching you forward.

The 300 wide square toe gives real room across the ball of the foot, and the 13-inch shaft is full traditional height — taller than most, with proper coverage through the calf.
