The Sinaloa Patron 10X in Pecan is built from premium beaver fur felt. Beaver fur has microscopic barbs that interlock far more tightly than wool or rabbit, producing a dense felt that sheds rain instead of soaking it up and holds a crease indefinitely. That water resistance matters practically: a wool hat caught in a shower loses its shape for good, while beaver dries and returns to form. The traditional cattleman crown — creased down the center with a dent on each side — is the most versatile Western profile and suits nearly any face.
