The Rebel Pro is the most engineered boot in the Durango line. A 12-inch square toe in Flaxen Brown full-grain leather with soft mesh lining and the X-Pand System hidden gore panel for easy on and off — but the reason to buy it is what's under your foot.

Durango stacks seven layers in this boot, and each one does something specific:

A removable Triple X-treme polyurethane footbed with memory foam sits on top. Below it, an EVA cushion layer molds to the shape of your foot over time. Third is a ¾ genuine Goodyear welt construction with a leather welt and double row cotton stitch — which means this boot can be resoled rather than thrown away. Fourth, a two-layer innersole: flexible full-length with a rigid ¾ heel tuck for stability. Fifth is the patented Dually Shank System — two fiberglass shanks instead of one, giving both medial and lateral torsion stability, which is roughly double the midfoot support of a standard western boot. Sixth, a nailed ABS heel base, weight-relieved so it stays light. Seventh, the slip, oil and abrasion resisting rubber outsole.

A littleway shank stitch binds outsole, heel tuck and upper together. The 1½-inch rocker heel promotes a more natural heel strike and reduces stress across a long day, and the rolled shank area sits cleanly in a stirrup.
