The steel toe is rated ASTM F2413-18 M/I/C for impact and compression, with electrical hazard protection on top of it. Underneath, a composite forked shank keeps the foot stable over uneven ground, and the removable cushioned insole rebounds rather than packing flat. Full-grain leather upper, mesh lining, and a padded collar and tongue — that padding matters more on a steel-toe boot, where the rigidity up front makes the rest of the fit less forgiving. The Duratread sole resists oil and slipping and holds to 300°C hot contact, with reinforced guards at the toe and heel where boots wear through first. The 90-degree heel catches ladder rungs cleanly.
