Full quill ostrich in chocolate brown — genuine hide, not a print. The raised quill follicles give the vamp real dimension, and "full quill" means the boot uses the prime crown section of the hide where the pattern is fullest and most evenly spread. Only a fraction of each hide qualifies, which is what puts full quill at the top of the ostrich range.
Chocolate brown does something black can't: it pairs with brown belts, brown hatbands and tan leather without clashing, which makes it the more versatile of the two if you already wear brown.
